HOW TO LOGIN
Your user-name and password is the same as your login information to access the Cloud. Once you log in, it will take you to the pending payments screen.
HOW TO PROCESS A PAYMENT
1. Through the web browser of your mobile device, log into the Cloud and create the desired transaction.
2. Click 'Take Payment'.
3. When you add a credit card payment type, you will be asked if you would like to use the mobile APP. Select this option.
4. The Cloud Companion APP will now open with the amount showing to be charged to the credit card.
5. With your ID Tech Shuttle Card Reader, swipe the card.
6. You will see a prompt with an approval code, select OK
7. Have your client sign their transaction.
8. You'll see a prompt confirming that the payment is processed. Return to your mobile device web browser to complete the transaction (cash out the ticket).
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I swipe the credit card, but nothing happens. What is wrong?
A:The card is not being read properly. Try the following if you have issues with your card reader.
- Don't rush! Slow down the speed that you are sliding the card.
- Swipe in the other direction
- Turn the card around
- disconnect and reconnect the card reader
Note: You will know that you successfully swiped the card when you get a processing prompt with an approval code.
Why are there tickets in my pending list?
A: These are transactions that were sent to the mobile app, but the a card was never processed. You can now select these pending items and process a payment, or choose to remove them.
How do I remove tickets in my pending list?
A: Log into the Cloud and go to the Sales Register. Remove the ticket number that corresponds with the ticket number in the pending list.
What kind of card swiper do I need?
A: You must use a ID Tech Shuttle (unencrypted) card swiper with the Cloud Companion.
Do I have to have a card swiper?
A. No. You can manually enter the credit card information to process a payment.
